The Eastern Washington Section of the Society of Women Engineers administers a $1,000 scholarship funded by AREVA NP Inc. The scholarship is awarded annually to a qualified female engineering student in the rising-sophomore or above classification.
Eligibility
* Be a female student who has satisfactorily completed at least one year of full time equivalent
engineering credits in an ABET accredited school.
* Express an intention to enter a nuclear-related field of engineering (e.g. nuclear, mechanical,
chemical, electrical or computer).
* Be in a position to accept the scholarship toward undergraduate or graduate engineering studies in
an accredited school in the fall following presentation of the award.
* Be a woman residing in the Northwestern United States (inclusive of WA, OR, ID, MT and AK).
