The USAB Northeast Region is pleased to announce a scholarship in the amount of $1000 to be awarded to a collegiate varsity badminton player exhibiting outstanding achievement, participation and performance during the badminton playing season.
Eligibility:
Applicants must rank within the top 7 players of an NCAA Division 1 or Division 2 varsity badminton squad within the N.E. Region states, and must not have been disqualified for play for any reason within 1 year prior to application.
All application information must be completed prior to posted deadline for the award sought with the additional submissions of the team coach's letter of recommendation and verification of the team's NCAA varsity status within either division 1 or division 2.
(Note: NCAA regulations for division 3 only preclude financial awards to athletes).
