The CSB Alumni Scholarships were established at local high schools by Central Scholarship Bureau Board members who are alumni of those schools. Scholarships are available at Baltimore City Polytechnic Institute, Forest Park High School and Woodlawn High School and range from $1,000 to $8,000.
* The CSB Alumni Scholarship at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute was first established in 2005 by Dr. Ed Perl and is now sponsored by Dr. Ed Perl and Mr. Douglas Goodwin.
* The CSB Alumni Scholarship at Baltimore City College was established in 2006 and is sponsored by CSB and a group of anonymous donors.
* The CSB Alumni Scholarship at Forest Park High School was established in 2006 by Mr. Michael Lapides and is continued in his memory by Ms. Suzanne Silverman Lapides.
* The CSB Alumni Scholarship at Innovation High Schools was established in 2007 by Ms. Peggy Heller and Ms. Susan Patz (CSB Board Members).
* The CSB Alumni Scholarship at Woodlawn High School was established in 2006 by Ms. Suzanne Silverman Lapides.
The scholarship recipients must be college bound seniors from these high schools. Awards are for the upcoming academic year. Award recipients will be selected based on academic achievement, teamwork, community service, and financial need.
Interested applicants can obtain applications from their high school guidance office.
