The recipients must be full time students, majoring in Early Childhood, Elementary, or Middle Level Education, accepted to Eastern Illinois University. Financial need is a consideration. The donor would like to allow a full scholarship should funds permit. GPA is not a consideration. Preference will be given to students from Decatur high schools, then to students from Macon County, and then it is open to students from other schools. Recipients shall be eligible to apply for, and receive, the award again provided they continue to meet the criteria stated above. The awards shall be issued in the Spring semester.
