Consular Corps of Colorado (CCC) scholarships are awarded annually to support study abroad for Colorado students planning a career involving international affairs. The funds are made available from a portion of the proceeds from IIE’s annual gala, the Diplomats Ball. Preference is given to graduate level students, but undergraduates are encouraged to apply. The award is for either the Summer or Fall 2006 semester/term.
SELECTION CRITERIA
* The scholarship may be awarded for undergraduate or graduate study abroad, although graduate students will have preference.
* Applicants should demonstrate commitment to serious study abroad as a complement to academic and career goals. Evidence of this commitment should be presented in the “Statement of Purpose” portion of the application.
* The scholarship is open only to U.S. citizens matriculating at institutions in the state of Colorado that are Educational Associate members of IIE.
* Students must be planning a career involving international affairs.
* Finalists may be required to participate in an interview with the scholarship selection committee either in person or via telephone.
