Corey's family and friends established this in January 1998 in memory of Corey Nuss, a senior at Ellsworth High School who died in a tragic automobile accident. The fund provides assistance to graduating seniors of Ellsworth High School who are pursuing degrees at accredited colleges or universities. Two scholarships will be given each year: one to a student pursuing a career in writing or the arts, and another to a student exemplifying "good citizenship."
