ELIGIBILITY: Each applicant must meet the following requirements:
* Students applying for this scholarship must be candidates for high school graduation this year and a dependent of on of the following:
- Active duty, retired or deceased member of the U.S. Armed Forces.
- Full-time National Guard and Reserve, either active or retired.
* One of his/her parents must reside in Pima County.
* Applicant and sponsor must possess military identification cards.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
* ACADEMIC RECORD: Applicant should have at least a 3.0 GPA (based on a 4.0 scale).
* TEST SCORES (e.g. SAT and/or ACT).
* EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES (school, church, community, employment, athletics, leadership, honors, etc.).
* STUDENT ESSAY
