This renewable scholarship was created in the name and memory of Dr. William R. Giles, entrepreneur and fund raiser for UNCF. The selected "William R. Giles Scholar" will be introduced at the annual "Evening of Elegance" benefit event which was founded by Dr. and Mrs. Giles.
