The HSF/IDT Hope High School Scholarship Program is designed to assist High School seniors of Hispanic heritage in New York City and Newark Metropolitan areas obtain a bachelor's degree. The award amount is up to $10,600 over four years.
Eligibility Requirements
* Be of Hispanic heritage
* Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident
* Be a High School Senior graduating from a high school in the following counties within the New York City Metropolitan area: Bronx, Kings, New York, Queens, and Richmond; or in the following counties within the Newark Metropolitan area: Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Passaic, and Somerset
* Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent)
* Have plans to enroll FULL-TIME in a degree seeking program at a four year U.S. accredited institution during the upcoming academic year
* Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
