In 1958, the J. Wood Platt Caddie Scholarship Trust was formed to provide financial assistance to qualified caddies of Member Clubs of the Golf Association of Philadelphia, who desired a college education. Since that time, Over $8.48 million has been granted in tuition payments to some 2,672 caddies pursuing an undergraduate course of study.
To qualify, you must be a high school graduate, be academically qualified, be currently serving as a caddie at a Member Club of the Golf Association of Philadelphia and must have caddied a minimum of one year.
