J.E. Caldwell Centennial Scholarship is awarded to outstanding students pursuing a course of graduate study in the field of historic preservation. This award has been made possible through J.E. Caldwell & Co., official jewelers of the NSDAR in honor of the DAR Centennial. This scholarship is funded directly by Caldwell and is awarded during Continental Congress. This is a one time award in the amount of $2,000.
To be considered for a NSDAR scholarship, the applicant must obtain a sponsorship letter from the local DAR Chapter. The State Scholarship Chair will assist with locating a chapter nearest the applicant.
For a copy of the application and list of State Scholarship Chair, mail a self-addressed and stamped business-size envelope (#10) to the NSDAR Scholarships, 1776 D Street, NW, Washington, DC 20006.
The deadline for submitting the application to the State Chair is February 15 of each year.
