ELIGIBILITY:
Ten (10) scholarships per year will be awarded on the basis of at least one (1) per region and not to exceed one (1) per family for a lifetime. Applications are open to members or associate members in good standing for at least two (2) years. All applicants must meet the eligibility requirements and comply with the Rules and Regulations as established by the OPEIU Executive Board. Each scholarship has a total maximum value of $3,000.00.
The applicant must be:
1. A member or associate member of OPEIU in good standing; and
2. Either an undergraduate or graduate in one of the following areas of study:
* Labor Studies
* Industrial Relations
* Union Leadership and Administration
* Non-degree Programs sponsored by the National Labor College at the George Meany Center or similar institution
