Each year the Northwest Danish Foundation awards a $500 scholarship in support of vocational training.
Eligibility:
* You must be a current member of the NWDF (current family membership is OK if you are under 18 years old by the application deadline) OR upon award, be willing to join at student level.
* An applicant must demonstrate a connection to Denmark through life experience, travel, study abroad, field of study or heritage. The program is open to all applicants and does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed or nationality.
* You must reside in the States of Oregon or Washington OR be enrolled in an accredited school in the States of Oregon or Washington.
* You must intend to use the NWDF scholarship in seeking an academic degree, vocational degree, or re-training for employment possibilities or in training for a legitimate artistic career that will enrich you.
