This Fund, established by the Lessans Family in 1994 through The ASSOCIATED: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore, provides scholarship assistance to Jewish students who attend accredited undergraduate colleges, universities or vocational schools. Scholarships are awarded once a year and are based on both need and merit.
Eligibility Criteria
* have already applied for a Central Scholarship interest-free loan for the current year.
* have a grade point average of 3.0 or better, based on a 4.0 grading scale.
* are enrolled as an undergraduate in an accredited college, university or vocational school (This scholarship is not available to graduate students.)
* have a maximum family income of $91,000 per year
* apply for financial aid and, if offered, accept a subsidized Stafford loan.
