The Non-Resident Tuition Award covers the difference between out-of-state tuition and in-state tuition. The award is automatically granted to qualifying students. Students must apply for admission to be considered, but are not required to submit a separate scholarship application.
Awarded to entering freshmen and transfer students from Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma. Entering freshmen must have a 3.5 or higher GPA and ACT of at least 25 or 1130 SAT (combined math and critical reading). Transfer students must have a 3.0 or higher college GPA and 24 transferable hours.
The Non-Resident Tuition award is only available to incoming students. A student who does not meet the eligibility criteria at the time of enrollment cannot become eligible for the award in a future term.
