The Association of Former Legislators Scholarship Fund was created to provide scholarships to promising students with a distinguished record of public service. They must have financial need and be pursuing a post-secondary education. Five $1,500 scholarships will be given annually.
SELECTION CRITERIA
In order to qualify as an applicant, you must meet the following criteria:
* Be a graduating high school senior and resident of Rhode Island.
* Have a history of substantial voluntary involvement in community service.
* Accepted into an accredited post-secondary institution.
* Able to demonstrate financial need.
