We understand that stereotypes aren't always accurate, but we'd like to know what you think students are like at a particular college. For example, for some people, Arizona State University conjures up images of perpetually tan, blonde-hair, blue-eyed students who outfit themselves in Abercrombie & Fitch and are constantly in a "Spring Break" state of mind. However, we all know this is simply a stereotype.
Choose any 4-year college or university and write a "mini-essay" (300 words or less) describing your preconceived ideas about the students who attend that school. Be as detailed and creative as possible. Accurate or inaccurate, we just want to hear your thoughts! When judging essays, we'll be looking for detail, creativity, and quality of writing.
The winner receives a $500 scholarship and 10 free College Prowler guidebooks.
