College scholarships are awarded for outstanding achievement in engineering or the related sciences to high school senior girls participating in the Ohio District Science Fairs in the South Ohio Section's geographic area.Consideration for the awards is automatic through the student's participation in her high school science fair and progression to the District's Science Fair level.South Ohio members act as judges of the students' projects during the District Fair.One scholarship is awarded at both the West District Science Fair for the Dayton area at Central State University and the Southwest District Science Fair for the Cincinnati area at Miami University for a total of two grants.
