Who can apply?
Students majoring in accounting with a B or better grade point average. Students enrolled in a degree program at an accredited 2-year or 4-year college or university. High school students must wait until they are attending college to apply. Only undergraduate students are eligible. Only U.S. or Canadian citizens attending a U.S. accredited business school, college or university may apply.
Scholarships are awarded primarily for academic attainment, demonstrated leadership ability and financial need.
The Stanley H. Stearman Award is awarded annually to a relative of a National Society of Accountants Active/Retired (living/deceased) member attending college and majoring in Accounting. The recipient of this award receives a stipend in the amount of $2,000 per year, not to exceed a three year period.
