The Thomas S. Monson Scholarship is the most prestigious undergraduate scholarship offered at Brigham Young University. This scholarship, which bears the name of the Prophet and President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, recognizes the leadership, personal character, and academic promise of some of the finest young minds in the Church. Twenty-five young men and twenty-five young women are awarded each year. To be appointed a Thomas S. Monson Presidential Scholar is a singular achievement.
Award:
One and one-half times LDS tuition for 8 semesters
Eligibility
To be eligible, you must--
* Have academic credentials in the multiyear scholarship range on the freshmen matrix (8 semesters full LDS tuition).
* Be currently attending your final year of high school.
* Be an active and worthy member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
